Why is an International Permit important?
An international permit is an official representation of your driver licence which allow citizens to drive legally in other countries. The international permit has a validity period of one year and if necessary, citizens will be required to apply for a driver licence from the country they are visiting within a one year period. Ensure you apply for your international permit prior to traveling.

Permit Requirements
Prerequisites for an International Permit:
Applicants must have valid driver licence
Proof of Identity
Valid Passport (with Visa where necessary)
Two passport photographs (To be used in Permit Book)
Itinerary for countries to be visited
A fee $65.00 BBD
