What is a Verbal Examination?

The Verbal Examination is a test applicants must conduct to prove their understanding of the road rules for Public Service Vehicles (PSVs). A pass score on this examination grants applicants the ability to apply for a Learner's permit. Applicants must be sixteen (16) years or older and must have a primary driver licence in order to apply for this examination.

    An appointment is required to conduct the Verbal Exam.

  • Identification

    Patrons are required to provide proof of identity

Examination Requirements

Prerequisites for a Verbal Examination:

  • Applicants must be 16+ years old

  • A primary driver licence

  • A valid police certificate

  • A valid medical certificate
